More power, more efficient and bigger prop with 10s. I can't wait to compare our boats together on the water Ray.

I suspect that that at least some gas riggers and sport hydros (very similar in speed and handling) run in the 80s based on what I have seen at the Gas Worlds. My 4S rigger cuts 12 second laps and tops out in the high 70s on the oval. But FE boats have a very large advantage over gas - instant torque and acceleration. jay, why the 5670? would the 5680 work a little better?

The 5860 is rated more watts so is stronger motor.
Ray I am running an old Schulze controller. But I have a sworfish 300 that works but does limit rpm some. If I were to buy a new one I would get one of the flier controllers from Chris Fine.
The airplane guys are starting to use the flier esc up to 18s without problem so far, so we think they've worked out the bugs for HV. So for 10s or lower I think they should work fine. But i don't have direct knowledge if they will work good or not. My Castle 160 went up in flames yesterday so I won't be using any of those for 10s set ups. They seem to work good on my 4s stuff.
I am waiting to get the props I need for my set up and will post video when I do. For now I will say I'm running close to 70 mph. Waiting for ABC 2714 and 2814 3 blade choppers.

jay, if i want to go with 10,000 mah 10-s, how would you configure the battery packs? i have a full bodied rigger with lots of room. will be using revo 5-s packs 70c probably 5,000 mah, unless you have a better suggestion.
