HELP me choose propeller for cat.

Hi guys. I am running X642 s/b prop for both my BJ26 and 32" cat. I would like to try other prop as well. So which other prop would be good ?

BJ26 = stock motor, esc
32" cat = 9XL Feigao, 100amp esc

What cells are you running, NiMH or LiPo? How many volts? These make a difference. For the big cat you could try an x445 or perhaps an m645 if the boat is aired out well and not running wet.

LiPo on both boats
2P 2s 7.4v parallel in BJ26
2P 3s 11.1v parallel in 32" cat

If you really are running 2s and 3s then you will need fricking great big props for those motors, but in all honesty you would be much better off just running your cells in series instead of parallel for 4s and 6s, watch the heat when you do though as you'll be putting out a LOT more power.

I would run the 9xl on 4s with a m447, on 3s you realy are not running that motor at it's best. As far as 3s in series to run 6s I would drop down to a 10 or 12 xl with the same prop. I ran a 9xl on 5s with props from m545- m447 and the motors would not last. If you go down the 6s route go with a 442 2 blader and watch your temps. Hope this helps

put the 3S in parallel on the BJ and the 2S in series in the 32" cat!
as Andym said when you try this, watch your temp after 30 seconds!
