What min and max diameter prop for 32'' Finch Wild Thing ?

Hi all here i go again just about ready to give the Wildthing a try for the 4th round. This is a 32'' wood mono hull with hull and hardware weight at 60 oz set up for 4S 2P 2- 4s 5000 mah 65c-130c Giant power lipos a Sword fish Pro 220-6s esc a Leopard 4082 2000 Kv motor. What min and max diameter and pitch props can i try on this set up with out creating another melt down? Regards Andris Golts.

    I am a racer, I would start with a M445
Short runs to start with and check your temperatures until you get the boat setup.

For sport running and longer run times try a X442

Hello, I'm running a 32" mono hull which is on the heavy side. I have a 4082 Leopard with 1450KV on 6s. I have tried 40mm prop and am now datalogging with an Octura X442. I'm running a Turnigy 180 ESC and here is the following data logged:

      Max Amps = 99.19
      Max Watts = 2,221
Max RPMS = 33,557 (Average loaded around 30,000)
      Max MPH = 44.3
      Motor Max Temp = 101.3
      ESC Max Temp = 91.3

I'm going to be trying an Octura X445 soon and expect a mild step up in amp draw and temps, but I have been told that an Octura X645 would really wake this thing up.

Hey Larry, Andris. I might be just a spectator at the butter festival.

Wendy and I are going, we just can't handle the early schedule to be there by six am.

Sorry to hijack, its was easier to let you know here in one shot.

No problem. If I'm not up to running boats I still want to get out and see some people and boats. Your builds are always a treat, very meticulous work.
