Collet - Are you supposed to tighten the tiny bolts circled?

I bought a Voracity 36 and I read up on how you're supposed to tighten the collet (10mm). I noticed there's two other
screws on the collet that look like they secure the collet to the motor (circled in red). I tried to tighten them but
one seems to have glue in the threads from the factory which means I can't get any hex in there to tighten.

Are you supposed to tighten these or just leave them be? Do they secure the motor to the collet?

Those are the set screws that hold the collet to the motor shaft. That flex cable looks f'd

Thanks. It's not my pic, I got it from the Voracity thread.

Are you supposed to tighten these set screws or just leave them from the factory?

They seem like they would strip easily and one of mine looks like it has glue on top of it which means I can't get a hex on it.
I searched and couldn't find any info on this.

They should already be tight its not something that needs to be checked often. I've never had a collet set screw come loose. Yes they strip easy if you over tighten them or aren't using a good allen wrench. Scrape the glue crap out of it with a small pick or something

use a soldering iron to heat the screw , this will melt the glue and makes it removable

            Thanks for the reply

I don't need to remove it now, but I was tightening all my bolts before my maiden and came across
these 2, which were the only ones I couldn't tighten.
