ProMarine MTR Flex shaft cable unwinding

Long story short - Had the original flex cable that came unwound so I got a replacement from ProMarine. Unfortunately that came unwound as well after only a months time. Does anyone happen to know the size of the flex cable and if there is a direct replacement on the OSE store? I'm looking to try a different brand as I've become a little frustrated with having 2 cables fail within a 3 months time. Thank you.

It is a .187 cable (just measured one last week). You will have to cut it to length.

Go with a 078 wire drive. PM me and I can fix you up with either. I actually think it is a 4mm cable since it is china but I could be wrong. The shaft is a different length than std 2.25" Our cable is better than china cable also.

Most esc's wont run full throttle in reverse. You should be able to run a flex cable in reverse at slow speeds. Try Jeffs wire drives or if you want a .187 cable of good quality, let me know?
