In my ongoing attempt to finish this boat, I have encountered another glitch. This time with the strut. The stuffing tube is supposed to fit into the strut and set back 1/4" from the rear. The Stuffing tube would not fit in the hole drilled in the strut as the hole was 1/32" to small. I redrilled it with a 1/4" bit and the tube fits albeit very snug as in just fits.
Now for some of you machinists out there should I leave it at that or should I drill it out to 17/64" or use a slightly smaller bit such as an F or G size?
