have a twin motor promarine mtr, and having little stability trouble at higher speeds 6s mostly i doesn't blow over but almost chine walks and then flips. was thinking about changing the prop direction right now they spin outward was going to try spinning them inward. good or bad idea ?

I really think those struts are too long for the boat but inward might help. Easy enough to try.
I'm anxious to see just how fast that thing can really run. It's still accelerating when it starts getting weird. I'm predicting many mph in the end.Noisy personComment

That's the opposite of the conventional wisdom, but that's what works for me. Boat corners on rails too, but not until I shortened the stingers and moved the rudder back.
The MTR-Twin may be OK with the longer stingers, because I think the rudder is also back there behind the props. Mine, originally, had the rudder WAY in front of the props, and it wouldn't corner at all...Darin E. Jordan - Renton, WA

Excuse my twin setup ignorance, but don't you need to also alter the rotation of the motors and switch the flex cables AND props of you want to run inward instead of outward?

Also, I know that my TFL Supplied motor collets were Right and Left rotation as well. You want the motor, when turning, to act to TIGHTEN the coupler, not spin it loose. Check those as well.
And, of course, you'll need to reverse the rotation of the motors themselves. Swap any two of the three motor leads to do that.Darin E. Jordan - Renton, WA

I wouldn't risk it, if you are taking the time to swap cables and motor wires, what's another 5-10 minutes swapping the collets? Would not be a happy camper if the collet loosened up and you lost two flex cables and propellers.NEVER SATISFIED RACING
