Touble binding RC boat setup

I am having troube getting my home made rc boat setup working, It has ran before just cant remember what to do/how I did the binding on the Controller. When plugging the battery cell into the ecs. The motor makes a beeping sound every second or so

Are you sure the Spektrum tx is compatible with the Flysky receiver???
I haven' t heard of this combo, is it an orange reciever?
If your radio system is not bound, it's impoosible to calibrate your ESC!

Let me get this straight: your receiver is an air receiver, 6 channel, and the DX5e is the Skeptrum air radio as well? I wasn't aware the Spektrum is compatible with Flysky, the Orange brand is. Also read carefully the manual as there is a difference between arming a stick tx and a pistol style one... at least that is from my memory.

Tryed a "fly sky" controller aswell...nothing changed

Perfect thank you guys, got it to work. Had to plug the 4xAA into channel 5.
