I just ran mine for the first time last weekend and had big problems and would like some help. Ian new to the rc boating hobby and learning quite a bit. The boat kept getting quite a bit of water in the hull and I could only run for about 30 to 40 seconds before it would act up and stop responding to the controls. The boat was within 70 feet of my pontoon boat when this happens. Also, there were a couple of times that it would take off on its own and then stop. Does anyone have any suggestions?

You need to work out how the water is getting in and stop it. Water and electrics don't mix which is why the boat is acting on its own. You may have damaged the receiver which may now need to be replaced.

Thanks, I think the only place that the water is coming in is the drive tube.

You have two threads on this boat running at the same time, you will get more help with just one.

Have you submerged the boat in the bath tub to find out where the water is coming in? Just set in water for a few minutes with the hatch off to see if it leaks? It is no wonder the boat stops working if it is full of water...

Running the chit out of ours.
Canopy is cheap crap...
1 motormounts broken free from hull.
I'm gonna go thru them and strengthen canopies with cloth.

Might even vaccum firm my own.
