    After Valdosta

There were some very interesting achievements made at Valdosta. There were small increments in speed and that is very difficult to do. Have we hit the wall as far as some hull designs and power capabilities?. I have not seen many new hull designs over the last few years. Do we have to adopt the the large hulls of our brothers in gas/nitro power?

I think it goes beyond that, I believe that we need... well, deserve a rethink hull design.
certain hulls have achieved their "natural shape" max and will not go beyond that, others have a bit more to go... but regardless, reshaped or outtashape are the 2 foreseeable options.
Size will only prolong the issue and get things to be more expensive...
    in my book that is.

I am also in favor of an open thread to "Show me your futuristic hull" to get ideas from all.
