    Imagine my frustration!!!

I finished up Josh's rigger today so I decided to go maiden it. I decided the Rivercat has been lonely so I charged up a set of batteries for it. I haven't been really trying to hit the century mark lately and I had a wild hair to have a go at it for the heck of it. I've been nervous about running the thing since it clicked off a few 98mph passes last time so it's been collecting dust. Well I told myself it's either gonna go or sink so screw it. No sense in having it if I'm too scared to run it. Anyway.....Josh's rigger ran perfect. I ran three batts through it. Water calmed down and I threw that puppy (cat actually lmao) in the water. First attempt it was wiggling all over the place. Noticed my trim was off. Fixed it and had another go.

Btw, this is still on 4s and I have not propped up just yet. It's got 105 in it no problem.

    Seriously???????!!!!! Your kidding right?????? Omg!!!!

So after cussing, swearing and just being in disbelief I decided to make one more pass. You guys know how that "one more pass" usually goes but it was so stable I just had to try it. I was prepared to lose it.

I'm sorry I didn't get a video. My kids were at their grandparents house so I had no cameraman but I will make another go at it this week on video.

    Whoohooo lol

I'll get some video for sure. I've got a couple little tricks I might do before next run. May pick up 1 or 2mph. I really don't have any goal for this thing, it smashed my ultimate goal of 90 but I wanted at least 85-88 no matter what. Funny how a boat I built to not go this fast has smashed the speed of everything else I've built.....and on less voltage too.
