    Dynamite 2000kv vs Leopard 2000kv

I'm pretty sure I know the answer, but Ill ask anyway.
All things being the same on a Proboat Blackjack 29 v3, what if any benefit will I see If I change out the stock motor to a leopard? Same kv rating.

I had the v1 and had it going just a tad over 55 stock but the hull cracked open at the seam so Pro boat sent me a v3 free of charge and I can't make the damn thing go any faster than 42mph. Both hulls were sanded and (blueprinted) if that's the correct term. The v3 seems to want to fly at lower speeds also (if the prop angle isn't just right.)

Have you double checked the hardware to see if they are setup the same ?. Are you running the same prop on the V3 and has it been adequately sharpened and balanced ?. You also need to make sure that your flex shaft has enough play in it so it doesn't pull tight when the motor spools up and binds up at the strut. It's a commonly overlooked issue. I've met a lot of guys that didn't realize that when the motor spools up the flex shaft twists and gets a little shorter, and if you're not running enough swag in the shots when this shaft twist it drags on the strut. As far as Dynamite Motors go I'm not a fan of them because they tend to scatter on me, not necessarily in boats all the time but it does happen with dynamites I've had. If it was my boat and I was planning on swapping out the dynamite motor, I would drop in the Aquacraft 2030kv mill. It's the stock mill in the UL-1and I've had real good luck with them on 4s & 5s power
