advice needed in choosing new hull

i need help picking a new hull that will handle ruff water better than the supervee 27. i would like to use all the hardware and the motor/esc from the supervee. the 2 i was looking at are the titan 40 and the triton. i like the flood chamber in the triton but not the cost. is it worth the xtra money over the titan? im not looking for a rocket just something that will get me into the mid 20s and looks good the bigger the hull the better. thx todd

My own personall thought is no purchase one of those 40" cats off ebay for around 50.00 . that seems like a good size. since your gonna put your hardware in you could get it and gut it. re-inforce where needed and youve got a kinda large good looking sleeeper boat. thats what my plan is. I should be very fast with a 18.00 hull.

I'm in the same boat....I want an FE, maybe the titan 33.....10" beam sounds stable and a brushless set-up. I just don't want an SV27 blow-over! I also can't afford $800 bucks.

40" for the SV motor/esc????? Thats seems a bit large for that set up, don't ya think?

Myself, I'm thinking the Faigo 540XL 12 turn and a Castle 225 in the Titan 33 with twin rudders.

Well maybe 2 Sv systems in a hul that big would work. I'm thinkin 1 is gona fry unless the prop is like 30mm.

actually the raider 25 or the rio roses 29" hull would be pretty sweet for the SV brushless set-up.
