Hi Skippers, Just thought I would share an upgrade I did on my twin pirate. The two excellent little HET 3668 2250KV motors and 120 amp esc's were working too hard, Nothing had failed yet but with the temps I felt it was only a matter of time.So out with the old and in with the new. 2x 4082 2200Kv SSS motors and OSE 150 raider ESCs. The problem was that the props and motors were at 45mm centres so I couldn't use off the shelf cooling jackets due to the diameter. So I enrolled in a hobby class at the local polytechnic and machined up a custom twin cooling jacket and engine mount and water cooled shaft clamp. I'm really thrilled with how this boat runs and turns.
