The Garmins are close to a hundre bucks.

I have a dynamite gps I am about to put up for sale. $57 shipped. It's a $100 gps. Only thing wrong with it is the screen is a little scuffed but you can see everything just fine.

Sorry sold it within an hour of posting it up. They aren't really water proof per se but they are coated. I did seal mine tho so it is waterproof. It's a pretty small unit. Not sure the exact dimensions but it's listed on the dynamite website. Also do a search for this question as there's many threads on it.

No worries I was just looking . Mostly kind of wondered about an app for my old Iphone since it is just an Ipod now . I thought maybe just put it in a ziplock or two and run with that.

Canmore G-Porter from Amazon, $54.99. It's small, light, IPX6 rated waterproof, and have been using it flawlessly for the last year.

I checked it with a much pricier Garmin unit, both onboard the same run on my Pursuit mono, it got 67.5 mph while the Garmin read 67.8 mph. So essentially very close readings for less than 1/3rd the costs.

Its definitely nice and small, a little shorter but thicker than a small pack of gum. Charge by UBS which last forever, and also saves telemetry for download later.

It is rated IPX6 water resistant, but it will be damaged if fully submerged for a length of time. More splash resistant. But considering I run almost 100% in salt water, it's been solid.

Yup, that's it. However, if you have a Amazon account, their return policy is 2nd to none if you have an issue.

+1 Love mine. Sat on the bottom for about 15 minutes one time. No problems.
