    New Zonda full CF 980mm

Found this hull, but can't seem to find any builds on it. Not sure if it's worth it or not. http://www.ebay.com/itm/980mm-39-1-2...-/281691947028

It's Cheap china crap/junk/garbage "AS IS".

And by the looks of it-- it's not even made by TFL. Could be some other dodgy manufacturer with bad quality control.

Look for something out of Switzerland or Germany. Like HPR or MHZ.

I'm not sure I would call it garbage. A lot of people have had a lot of fun with this hull. It's a good mix of straightline capability without being too difficult to turn at lower speeds. It is Chinese, but the majority of people on this forum are running Chinese hulls.

By the way...MHZ hulls aren't made in either Switzerland OR Germany. I would consider them better quality than the TFL hull in question, but that certainly doesn't mean the Zonda is "junk".

Where do they make the MHZ hulls? I believe the HPR works on some of them as well... at least thats what I think as he posted a picture of like 10 mhz hulls in his shop...

Ignorance huh? You think this hull is actually WORTH the money? It's made of super thin carbon by some no-name manufacturer... so you're gonna need to spend a bit of money on cloth, epoxy, and marine foam just to make sure it doesn't fall apart once it goes airborne at just 80-90mph.

Probably better off going with either of these for the price or cheaper given the work you'll still have to do to this one in terms of reinforcement:

            http://www.rocketcityracing.com/boat...aran-hull.html (Carbon Fiber - $225)
            https://www.rc-raceboats.de/shop/lng...t-cfk/gfk.html ($169)

Plus most of these actually have parts readily available that you can buy from the same place (like motor mounts, rudders, etc) versus parts that may or may not fit that no-name-brand hull.

Keith, yea I know... I'm just saying they are crappy "as is"... without extra reinforcement of course and not so good considering the alternatives value-wise. I remember when I first got my CF shocker-- the seaking that blew up cracked entire seam in the front. When the shocker sank (after going airborne)... that entire front seam was ripped wide open lol.
But anyways, now I'd rather invest a little more for the extra peace of mind... given the amount of money already being put into ESC's, lipos, etc.

Can't be any better than the Tenshock Electra (Shocker)... which I have previously owned (RIP).

Well, I'm not going to take any chances because I don't have that kind of money to waste, so I'm just gonna get the 45" mystic hull from KBB.

You would not be wasting your money on this hull.

I love your responses to some of these posters. Your saying what I'm thinking only much more politely.

Absolutely! He claims it will do over 120 and I'm not going for that much speed so it will be fine. And it's a beautiful looking hull too.

One of our club members has one. He bought it RTR with twins directly from the owner of TFL and they did a very good job building both the hull and installing the components.

Is it built to a certain price point, of course...is it the equivalent to a HPR or a KBB...unlikely . But blanket statement stating they are crap and garbage is totally
                              without merit.

By the way, I have 6 TFL hulls (none are full carbon) and abuse them regularly. They keep coming back for more abuse.
