New drivers stand & storage facility.

That must always be a difficult situation to overcome.

Trev sent me a few pics of today's efforts.
The old stand was taken away on tuesday
Today the storage container was hoisted into position, & the drivers stand locked into place on top of it.
There's another working bee this Sunday to start adding the stairs & paint the bottom container.

Last weekend was a big one & we managed to get the stand finished & ready for this coming Sundays' race day.
We would have been lost without the welding talents of Keith. And to his dear wife Relene for keeping him dry. And she cooked lunch for us all too. God bless her.
Not even the rain stopped the work.
Most of the work was involved in getting the stairs platforms & handrails finished.
I got the power wired in for the PA & computer, & reconnected the outlets in the pits for the chargers.

A great effort by all the guys & gals involved over the last few months.

John & I went back up to the lake today to do a bit of sealing around the window flashings because the rain last Sunday showed up a few spots where the water tracked in above the windows. An easy fix.
So i took a couple of pics in nicer weather.
