capsizes with full throttle and hard turn from standing still

I have an 18" inboard that i converted to an out board and it capsizes with full throttle and hard turn from standing still. I presume this is not normal?
I am testing in a small 8' pond. any ideas? Thanks; Don

Outboard to big for hull? Turning to tightly (driver error)? Accelerating to fast (driver error)? To much voltage? Center of gravity to high?
Prop to big? Hull to light?

Am I expecting to much? I just hate to get it in the middle of the pond and have it capsize. Don

Take a vid so we can see what you are talking about...the initial info you gave us isn't really enough to do anything with.

Made some improvements; The motor was all the way down. now aprox level. Need to get to larger pond to see how it runs strait line.
                          Thanks for the ideas. Don

I have three outboards on f1 tunnel hulls i had make a spacer for one so the motor was away from the transom about 3/4 inch , that may help you a little .
