    6.5mm bullet plug ?

Hi all im running a UL -1 2030 KV motor with a Sea king 120 amp esc on 4s on my outboard tunnel hull currently im using 5.5mm bullet plugs . Would there be an advantage to switching to 6.5 mm plugs ? Regards Andris Golts.

NO with your max AMP draw with that motor, the 5.5mm plugs are fine.
There is No advantage of changing everything over to 6.5mm plugs.

Only if you want the extra weight.

Leave it to Larry to worry about connector weight. HA!

The 5.5mm are good enough on 4S. My 2030kv Aquacraft motor would actually melt the solder on the stock 4mm connectors, it was perfect on 5.5mm.

On my bigger setups, I actually skipped the 6.5mm and went straight to 8mm. They only cost a dollar more per set and leaves you plenty of space as you go bigger and faster.

5.5 is fine for that setup. I run 5.5s on all my boats up to 6s without any issues.

or go for LMT 6mm's ... rated at 400amps and low resistance.

Only like $5 bucks a pop though :P
