First Class shipping now availible to customers outside the USA

When we first started Offshore Electrics we could ship a customers order by Priority mail to most parts of the world for about $10.00. Prices have drastically increased over time. That same size package today is now over $30.00.

To help fight the increase in USPS mail costs, we have implemented the USPS first class shipping method on the website. Small items will now be able to ship for as little as $6.50.

Yes Sir and Small Flat Rate Priority Mail box just went from $5.25 to $6.80 about a 30% jump. I guess stamps will be next.

Kudos to you Steven! Shipping increases have made it almost impossible to sell anything of significant size.

Great stuff. It can really add to the cost of getting parts down under, so any savings help. Makes you wonder about the shipping companies but, when oil prices went up it was a natural conclusion that shipping costs would increase, now oil prices have gone down....??

That is real good to hear Steve. All I seem to need lately is smaller stuff. This will really help me get the cart movin'.

Awesome news! It's sometimes hard to gather enough parts to make the shipping worthwhile when I only need a couple of items.

Thank you Steve. I've been hoping for this for a long time. I understand your hesitation in the past. Now I can get more props from you and other small stuff.

I doubt you cxasn ship a mean machine new style cowl for that price however, can you ship one at a nice rate, first class? It's kinda big.

It will certainly help us Aussies down here in the southern hemisphere Steve.
Like Scott T said, we have had to wait until we need enough items to make the postage more acceptable. About $200.00 worth made it bearable for me. So this will be a great help on just a few small items.
Now, it's only the dollar exchange rate that is killing us. What ever we buy costs an extra 25% or so in our money.
See the danger. THEN DO IT ANYWAY!!!

Over the years I had tried with a few select orders. Id estimate a couple of dozen or so. A couple of packages didnt make their destination so I held off adding it to the shopping cart. For the reason that people were pissed when they didnt get their stuff, but they specifically asked for the cheapest rate possible. That being said, I hope the USPS and their co partners handle the packages better these days.
