    Bored Old Fart # 2

I was looking at my rather extensive FE boat collection [9] not including sail and scale. I peered at my first loves H&M Micro Cat and the no step baby and said you have been in cobwebs too long. Charged the old NI-MH batteries and inspected the brushed motors and went out to the pond. These boats are still a blast today. Not superfast but for their hull size they are very demanding to run. It is all not about speed...skill is tops, which I sadly lack

Well said Doug , it just goes to show the enjoyment factor is not related to how much you spend! My fav boat to run is the 31" Wild Thing i set up for my kids. Cost under $300.00 Aust and will run 45mph all day. Cheap chinese motor and esc ,hand made timber hull.

Tom that is great news about TJ, I am sure it is a big load of the shoulders for you all. Have you had a look at building a hydro Hull? I am so impressed with mt whiplash, it is better hull than any I have owned so far and very fast. As well as being a blast to build
