I spoke to him once (Canadian guy) and he talked me out of buying a hull I wanted... still dunno what he was thinking... I was buying it for sure... oh well.

Can't beat that. Maybe the hull wasn't right for what you wanted to do, and he didn't want you to be unhappy with his product. That's true customer service!
