I have this setup on my rivercat http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...prod=ose-80978

and I'm wondering if this blade will fit the bracket? http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...prod=ose-83248

    Thoughts? Thanks

Yes but for the love of rc please don't put that thing on there. It's huge and will handle so bad. Had one on a Genesis and boy it drove bad. Put the regular one back on and fixed the slack (culprit of why it was driving bad to begin with and prompted me trying that rudder).

I have that same rudder, my only issue with it is that it came with smaller than stock water fittings on the top. Luckily the stock rudder water fittings fit on it, and I had two of those laying around.

As for me, I didn't have any issues with that rudder, but for my Genesis it is purely a SAW boat, it helped improved stability at 70 mph, but I'm pretty sure it hurt handling due to the extra width to accommodate the extra water inlet. But turning is not what my Genesis is setup for.

So it comes down to what you want your rivercat to do. If you are doing sporting driving, then probably not the right rudder for you. If straight line speed, great rudder.

Here is a pic of it installed with the blade sharpened ....
