Picked up mine today from my postal service in Point Roberts WA...saves a lot of cash for US purchases and only a 20 minute drive away from home....The unit looks robustly constructed with decent caps. Steve your shipping service is beyond par, it was out for shipping within one day.

As to who is making them for us.

Here's an example, If you look hard enough you will see a 1/2 dozen companies selling re-branded Seaking 180s. Another 1/2 dozen companies selling esc's that look 100% identical and marked as Seakings that are not Seakings. A label is just that a label, a cheap sticker. Its where the actual item is manufactured thats the important thing.

So, Id like to keep which exact manufacturer that is making them for us a company secret. I think its fair to say that I believe my competitors should spend their own time and money on testing to figure out which factory is good or bad.

Double the cooling area heatsink of a seaking 180 with two cooling tubes and 10 gauge wire.

Interesting. One P racing would be nice and cheap. Next season I'll give a single pack a try in some boats.

                  Thanks buddy.

Are you saying there are counterfeit Seaking ESCs out there? Where?
I suspect these are old versions or something?

I haven't seen any fake seakings but I own seakings rebranded from 3 companies myself. The new Proboat units are clearly Hobbywing too.

I think knowing the practices of some Chinese companies that knock off Seakings would hit the market as soon as they became popular and that shady distributors would buy them. E bay is full of counterfeit items.

Also, I have a sneaky feeling that this new OSE ESC is underrated for amps, which is a prudent thing to do

Man 'o man a 250 amp 6-12S (gives a little headroom for 10S applications) would so totally ROCK! Any chance of a data logging option?

                            Steven,
Do you think it will handle my kind of abuse? Not questioning quality, you know the sorts of things I put esc's through.

You would have to find a way to hook two or three in parallel.
When you or Darin figure that out let me know too.
I am still using your mod for the CC-240's
