    2.5 mm on a flex shaft

    Worked on mt twin today,really need a 2.5 mm Allen on a flex shaft to reach in the hard to get places ,I'm about to make my own if I can't find one ,no luck yet,or maybe you know of one ,I'm going to weld a piece of Allen wrench to the end of a broken flex cable ,should work good ,let me know if you are familiar with this tool ,thanks

    I start my motor mount screws with fuel tubing and then final tightening with Allen wrench.

      I do the same as Ray for awkward screws, I insert the head of the screw into a piece of fuel tube. They screw in real easy then tighten with allen wrench.

        There has got to be a flexable alien driver out there,I haven't found it yet,I did find a 5mm nut driver on a flex shaft for reaching the transom ,

          At one time someone made this tool with a flex shaft. It's not being made or sold anymore that I know of but its not very hard to make either.

            If you Google or go to Ebay & put in mini flexable screw driver kit you will find a number of these kits. I have a 32 piece kit where the screw driver comes with interchangeable bits ie Phillips,torque bits, Hexagon bits & flat bits. The flex part is very similar in appearance to our flex shafts that we all use.

              Found a 32 pc set with a flex shaft and the allen bits too on eBay thanks for the tip ,I messed around with fuel line to start screws too ,this set will make it EZ to work on the rudder,
