    Kinda glitching ?

This may not be the right place but here goes ,my stock Spartan did this ,now my cat and anouther boat do it ,both have seaking ESC, Pull full trigger and the boat takes off and a bit later it either glitches or hic ups or something because it will hang a hard right,if I run 1/2 throttle a bit then full on it won't do it ,the Spartan would stay straight but the cat hangs a hard right at speed,is this what caps work to eliminate? I installed a glitch buster and a 1000uf cap on the ESC ,still does it,so I ordered new ESC and recievers from OSC, this just started on my other boats ,really annoying ,do those cap banks stop this? Running 6s,thanks ,

The ESC should not have any bearing on it unless the BEC is malfunctioning and not feeding the radio /servo with the right voltage under full load, some people like to use an UBEC with the Seaking ESCs on 6s to lighten the load on the unit, you can try that.
Also since you are experiencing this in multiple boats and I am assuming that you are using the same tx, may be the tx deserves a closer look too.
Too many boats, not enough time...

I have 3 tx units ,all the same brand and have mixed them up too ,it seems the common element is the ESC ,did it with the stock Spartan till it zapped ,so I'll have my buddy hook me up a UBEC and see if that fixes the glitch, used to do them on the high draw buggies to,thanks ,

I had similar problems with a fly sky I used on my buggies and smaller boats with no issues but in my Genesis the glitches were horrible. Tried many times to fix it but finally got a good airtronics radio and problem solved

Low voltage can matter with a BEC, poor cells under high draw (acceleration) can drop voltage to the ESC, or not. The FlySky radio has had mixed results, a few years ago the gas guys dropped their Futabas and Airtronics for the cheap SkyFlys ($8 for a receiver!) and you saw a lot of them at races. Within two years they were no longer seen as racers realized that there is more to value than low cost. One club member has used one for several years and he has control issues almost every race. They call it radio control for a reason.

So no glitch busters? I have a traxxis rx tx maybe I'll pop that in there ,it didn't really start till I sank it in salt water and the caps burned off the ESC ,but now you got me thinking ,I put my Spartan on my fly sky and it always glitched ,but it stayed straight so I didn't care ,this cat hooks a hard right real fast, thanks for the tip

Is there a way to increase voltage to the reciever ? I used to do it when running 2s trucks ,but on 6s I don't know how or if it would solve my problem ,I only have a month left then they go on the shelf and the buggies come out ,

Most receivers today have internal voltage regulators, so no matter what the input voltage the receiver still sees the same voltage. Not certain about the FlySkys.

Well I installed new seaking 180 ESC and a reciever in each boat and no more problems ,probably all the electronics were harmed by salt water ,but the kids flip the boats and I gotta swim ,takes a while to get there and a little water seals in ,trying to keep this set totally dry

Swimming out after toy boats..... wtf. Picture this if you can. two young kids calling for Dad, you can't respond because your at the bottom, drowned. How's that for a glitch ???

                        Cheers, Jay.

Your good intention is appreciated but don't you think the wording of your post is a bit harsh? It is counter productive with the harsh words, it will not influence people in a positive way, quite the contrary it will incite resentment.

What the man said is true, I thought of writing something before he did but you mentioned salt water and your location is CA, so I didn't want to jump to any premature conclusion, it is entirely possible that your grand kids are boating on a beach.
Enjoy your family time and yes, safety first!
                              Cheers!
