    Pier 57?

A few years ago I recall somebody making a model of Pier 57 (Offshore hull).

Anybody remember who it was or what hull they used? I have a new boating buddy and that's his favorite full-size boat. I'd like to encourage him to model it.

mhz's dragon lady is a fountain hull and would suit this build nicely.
you just missed one for a smoking deal in the swap shop.
The Manx has been sitting dormant, but I think I finally have my motivation back. I hope to see it float soon.

the question should be; which pier 57 boat...some of the more recent boats fielded by the pier 57 team resemble the om26. current boat is a 'Fountain boats' race boat hth

The Fountain Deep V's. That's why I'm asking - if he were into hydros, I could handle it myself.

Rex - it's good to be able to post without board politics! Our new house has a nice pond at the end of the cul-de-sac and a flying field about 2 miles away. I'll see if I can get some aerial photos so you can envy me

I dunno if this is the one you're talking about, but it's I'm pretty sure it was a Titan.

My mind remembers a different color (yellow?) but it could be it.

Here's some links to some yellow Pier 57 offshore racers. Fountain seems to be the boat, so a couple of the MHZ boats should work.

while looking for comparison photos I ran across a boat I wouldn't mind having a model of...don't know if I would dare race it though, the offshore race boat 'Love Muscle'. methinks the paint would get dinged up way too soon.
