    Who makes connectors?

I'm interested in having my own connectors made. What's readily available just isn't what I want. Ideally if castle made 8mm green battery connectors that would be ideal. So if any of you guys know of a manufacturer that makes connectors, please help me get in touch with someone. I'd be willing to do a buy in if necessary. Also if any of you guys would be interested in some of these connectors, let me know. With the advent of higher power batteries, escs and motors that we've been seeing, it think it's worth the upgrade.

No man, I have some of those. About 50 sets actually. They are very cheesy and thin. Feel almost as strong as aluminum foil. Lol. I want some quality ones.

I'd be in on some really good quality connectors/helping with a buy in. Yeah, ones that might be a bit overkill for what we have available now. See what you can come up with!

I found some 8mm ec5 copies that look like they are good quality. I'll be ordering some tomorrow. I'm waiting on the guys return email, he said if I buy over a certain amount he would give me a discount code so I'm waiting on him to send me the code. I guess they are worth a shot but I still would rather find a company that would make them. I don't think I'd have a problem selling some high quality units.

Exactly. Search ec8 on eBay. There's only two sellers selling them. I'm gonna be the guinea pig. If they work good I may buy a butt load of them and make it easy for my fellow members to get because they are coming from over seas. I may see if Steve wants to carry them. I don't care much for stocking and selling any parts unless I have to buy a large amount to get a decent deal on them. In which that case I'd just sell them at my cost plus shipping because I'm not worried about making a profit, just want a good heavy duty "dummy" proof connector. I can't do separate bullets....I'd hurt myself.

Well I ordered 10 pairs this morning. The guy said they are rated at 300 amps. I'll put them to the test and I'll let you guys know how it goes. I'm still open to having some custom made for us. Us boat hobbyists always get skipped over on stuff.

I bought some in the past but, spring of 2014 the shipment I received was BUNK. The male contact surface was decreased by 30% - 50%. I don't know if they are back to normal or not and I'm not about to find out the hard way again. The same with their AM-1005 5.5mm connectors, they cheeped out.
HK sells some other interesting connectors with 24K gold 13 microns thick but, you pay far more for them. I have not tried them and don't feel like getting burned again.

I think someone was making higher quality ones at one point and then they were copied in China.
