    1521 shaft size

I have seen the 1521 comes standard with a 8mm shaft, what size is everybody using? I am assumming the larger size makes for a stronger shaft...is it making a difference?

I highly doubt it will make a difference in strength but the physical size of the bearings might make them last longer. If it was me and I had a 1521 with a 5mm shaft I wouldn't worry but if I was buying a new motor I might opt for the 8mm shaft simply because of the "Bigger is Better" theory

if the can is the same size and the shaft is bigger wouldn't that make the bearings smaller?
