Rudder water inlet hole on right or left?

Does it really mater if the water pickup in the rudder is on the right or left? I have a Lucas Oil cat and the water pickup is on the right side of the rudder. I was told this is because in a right turn it forces more water in the inlet. Therefore when running just for fun I should make right turns because turning left it wouldn’t cool in the turn. Made sense to me. However I am building a DF Cyber Storm and just noticed the water pickup is on the left side of the rudder. I have looked at pictures of rudders from several companies and I see some on the left and others on the right. Should I get one with the pickup on the right or not worry about it?
    Here is my build log.

I would think that while in a turn it MAY get too much water if in a turn on the same side as the intake. That being said then flow would be cut if the intake was on the opposing side.

And in all honesty I doubt the flow being cut for the few seconds in a turn is all that crucial. Back in my brushed/Nicd days I ran races without any cooling so as not to have the extra drag on the power system.
