can someone please id my rudder/strut assembly?

I built this boat several years ago with hardware purchased by fine design. For some reason he sold me a separate strut and bracket assembly for it. I am upgrading the boat to .150 flex and the existing strut won't work so I am looking to just remove the lower brackets and add a strut to the rudder bracket as it should be. It looks like the strut has to be about .090 thick where it slides into the brackets and needs to accept a .150 cable. Any ideas what will work here? Thanks.

Sorry, should have been clearer- I want to remove those brackets and just run a strut off the rudder assembly as it's supposed to be. I still have the purple strut but it's too small for the .150 cable. I need to either know who makes the rudder or who makes a strut that will fit into it so I can get a strut for it.

I can just get a new rudder and strut assembly if need be, but would rather just do the strut. Thanks!

Thank you. Do you know of any struts that will fit in there?

I would if I could find one I liked for it. All I see on ose are this one which is too big (same as on my 37" daytona) http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...prod=ose-80085

And this one which won't take the .150 flex and looks a little on the small side for this boat (30" bk bandit) http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...ct-oc6str-130a

              Any recommendations? Thanks.

Measure the gap in the purple mount and I can help more.

I'm ditching the purple one all together and moving the strut to the rudder bracket since it is made for a strut as well. That one has about and .090 width opening for a strut to slide in.

I wish I knew why, but it was probably sold to me like this because he used the h&m strut on something else so he sold me the separate purple one to use.
