    Brushless Conversion

I have a Titan 29 powered by Speed 700 Turbo BB running 12 NIMH cells. Would
like to convert to brushless and having a hard time between a Nemesis Blue or
a Feigao and what speed control to use (Need BEC). Does anyone have any
    suggestions? Thanks

look at this thread and you'll find very good info on what to choose, motor ESC range battery cell count.
Feigao 8XL and 4S choose the ESC according to your budget, from cheap 100A on e bay to Hydra240, choice is yours!

Nemesis and Feigao are the same motor, and they are 2 pole motors this produces less torque than higher pole motors

I run an 8XL with a hydra 120 in a Syncron and I have had no issues. That setup should be perfect for your boat.

I have a suspicion that 8XL might not be enough in the long run for this boat. How about KB45 XL motor? I never set up a mono before, but I keep seeing guys on here that run too small of the motors badly overpowered so they can get the performance they want. If the hull can handle extra weight of the KB45 motor, than its better than Feigao 8XL because you got some extra power to spare. Higher efficiency is another advantage of running slightly bigger motors than required. Also, if you are willing to spend extra $200 on the motor, go for Neu 1521 or even bigger. They are more efficient and higher quality motors made in USA.

I am partial to Neu...they are a 4 pole they will produce more torque than a comparable Feigao but are more expensive

              Feigao XL-$70
              Neu 1515-$250

remember you get what you pay for

If you are going to be racing then get the Neu otherwise for sport running get the 8XL. The 8XL will do mid forties in the Titan 29. As long as you do not over prop Feiago will be fine in it.
