New to lipos, Have a quick ?

I want to know if it would be safe to run 2 lipos with a different c rating in series.
They are both 5000mah packs. 1 is a 2s1p 12 c and the other is a 3s1p 25c pack. I would like to try them in me Formula Fastech, but don't know if you can mix c rating like that. Thanks in advance!!!

I would not recommend it. The 12C pack will be the weak link in the chain. You will not be able to draw more current than the 12C pack can handle.

      not good at all!
always (not only with Lipo's) use packs that are the same, no matter if they are in serie or in parallel, I personnally use same brand, same age, same specs pack when connected together!

I am with Emannual, do NOT do it. At best you will stuff the 12c pack at worst a explotion and fire. Same MHA same C rating same brand is preferable and packs that are of a similar age. We get complacent with our Lipo's because good cells work so well but do not forget that they can be very lethal ! A 12c pack has NO place in a brushless boat. AT ALL.

Confirming, the "no". As the advice everyone else is already stating the C rating is too low too. It's the C rating you should always match, as for the MhA that is not that important, but always better to be the same or very close.
