If you need a fiberglass hatch for your shocker, I'm having some made. I tried to get them from several places and they don't sell them separate. Solution? Have some made. If you need one, pm me or post here. I wasn't sure what section to put this thread in. I'm not really selling them myself, but I can direct you to where to get them from. He's offering a heavy layup or light layup for the same price. They will be $60 each.
Anyone interested in a fiberglass shocker hatch?

I've seen the guys work and it's top notch. He did say that he doesn't do gel coat so it would need to be painted. I'm trying mine in the black fiberglass.32" carbon rivercat single 4s 102mph, 27” mini Rivercat 92mph, kbb34 91mph, jessej micro cat(too fast) wasComment

Have you checked with Scott (Tiqueman)? He likes doing stuff like hatches and might already have something for this. I recall him doing some for older boats like the blackjack.Comment

He was going to make one for me. Now he's going through a divorce and sold his shocker and don't have time to do it right now.32" carbon rivercat single 4s 102mph, 27” mini Rivercat 92mph, kbb34 91mph, jessej micro cat(too fast) wasComment

Hey Travis,
I may have some interest in this if still possible. I currently have an email out to Kevin @ Fightercat with some questions on the c/f Shocker before I place an order.
Maybe you can help with some knowledge/advise...
I see they are offering the c/f version with a "Standard Layup" or "Extra Strong SAW Layup". What exactly is the difference for the $86.50 charge? Is this just an extra layer is a certain place? Is this a completed second layer of c/f? Or is the c/f used thicker?
Is this a completely different hatch specific to this boat only or is it the same as a River or Daytona? They look the same but I'm assuming the dims may be different.
I also inquired about purchasing an additional f/g glass with a c/f hull but I will assume that may not be possible.
I say I have possible interest in getting a f/g hatch with you because based on what I'm seen here these hulls are hard to find in stock. Based on the Fightercat website there are currently 4 in stock, but I'm still waiting to hear back from him. If I can get my hands on the hull, I will defiantly want a f/g hatch to go with it.
Thanks for the post and any advice or input you can offer would be appreciated.Have fun with that....Comment

1) fightercat has none in stock.
2) You'll have to get it over seas from tenshock. It'd get the carbon version, it's a bit stronger than the tfl hulls (Rivercat, Daytona, fantasm etc).
3) these hulls are not extremely nice quality out of the box. You'll need to buff it, sometimes wet sand and maybe fill in some dry spots.
4) the hatch will be the exact same as the original.
They are going to be available soon. Randy said he should be done with the mold this week.

Are your responses in regards to the entire boat or the hatch? Not sure if you read my questions correctly...
1) fightercat has none in stock. (Website says they have 4 boats???)
2) You'll have to get it over seas from tenshock. It'd get the carbon version, it's a bit stronger than the tfl hulls (Rivercat, Daytona, fantasm etc). (Do you have a contact or link if Fightercat has no c/f shocker boats in stock?)
3) these hulls are not extremely nice quality out of the box. You'll need to buff it, sometimes wet sand and maybe fill in some dry spots. (Are you saying the hull will need this work or just the f/g hatch you are looking to purchase?)
4) the hatch will be the exact same as the original. (Understood... but is the hatch for a shocker the same or different then a rivercat and/or Daytona?)Have fun with that....Comment

This boat is nothing like a Daytona or Rivercat. I posted you a picture to see what it looks like
Fightercat has no hulls in stock. They never sold separate hatches.
It's not a real nice finish on the hull. Some are nicer than others (hull)
Look up tenshock 95 hull. That's a shocker.
Fightercat has not been updating their site in quite a while.
Once again, I know for a fact that he has none in stock. I know the guy, talk to him regular and I'm building a boat for him. So trust me.32" carbon rivercat single 4s 102mph, 27” mini Rivercat 92mph, kbb34 91mph, jessej micro cat(too fast) wasComment

I would always trust what insight you may have Travis.
I just didn't know if you were talking about the hull or just the hatch that Fightercat has none in stock.
I just gave a quick search and I'm not finding the Tenshock 95 in stock anywhere. Could you remember me if you ever come across one available?
I'm not going to pull the trigger on the f/g hatch unless I know I can get a hull.
Thanks, DaveHave fun with that....Comment
