Impulse 31 or Blackjack 29

I have narrowed my boat choices down to the impulse 31 v2 or the blackjack 29 v3. Which boat do you all suggest. I have always preferred cats but I like the way the deep v's handle in the water. I will be running in a not so big man made rc boat lake. Which would be faster and which will handle better?

Apples and oranges....if you pond isn't that big (as you state) then rough water won't be an issue. You prefer cats...than get the cat.
