How to replace Pursuit 2-piece driveline

Boat is a box-stock Hobby King Pursuit. It comes with a 2-piece driveline, the rigid shaft part that stays in the stinger and the flex shaft in the stuffing tube. I need to replace these with an OSE 1-piece driveline, so I can readily change props. It is a .187 and will be replaced with another .187 shaft. The solid shaft does not come out of the stinger. It looks like I'll have to take the stinger off the transom to get the shaft out. Is there any other way?

Just undo the screws that hold the stinger in it's bracket, Two at the bottom and two for the adjuster end. You do not need to remove the bracket from the transom. Easy as.

Great, thanks. I should probably get the measurement first.
