The first link you posted, the arianne can be had cheaper at hobbyking (ugh) minus an Esc which still keeps the price lower. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...or_930mm_.html

Just an FYI...rcbb is higher priced on most stuff that can be had elsewhere cheaper.

If you'd be open minded about a cat, these handle really well and can easily go 50+

Thanks for the info I have the blackjack 29 it blows over all the time and has a crappie turning. I really like my shockwave 26 I would just like bigger and faster.

For the money you want to spend on each boat you could quite easily build what you want from scratch, which would be a lot better than anything you can buy RTR.
Ric boat bitz are good to,deal with but are in Aussie so you have shipping to add to that.

The cat KFXGUY suggested to you is a good RTR boat.
I think if you want to buy SEVERAL identical ones and not set your goal too high as far as speed is concerned, you might be surprised at the savings you can accumulate with a large order from Towerhobbies on the Revolt 30 mono which just came in stock.
Tower Hobbies carries an expansive collection of RC cars, RC airplanes, RC boats, model trains, sot cars, and supplies for all hobbyists.

Comes with different colors and as far as RTR goes, they are hard to beat. If you spend the money you have saved on upgraded parts such as cables, collets and metal props, you and your friend would be in the water sooner than you think.
Too many boats, not enough time...

This is your best bet. The revolt is a good boat and has lots of potential. Looks really cool too. Plus you can get one of each color. This is what I'd do in your situation.

I wanted to say thank you for all the advice and offers to buy some quality boats. I've made my decision, I ordered 2 carbon fiber pursuits from rcboatbiz and those that didn't want to spend the money ordered from Hkand also got pursuits. So now if I could get some advice on motor, esc, prop and batteries it would be greatly appreciated. I like speed but also want it stable. I don't think I'm asking to much but would like to do at least 60mph if I could hit 70mph+ that would be amazing.

I'm going to recommend some stuff I've used. Might be a little out of your price range but here goes....

                    Castle 1520 1600kv (I think they are 1600)
                    Neu 1521 1577kv
                    Neu 1527 1500kv for overkill
                    Swordfish 240 pro plus 2
                    Swordfish 300 lite for overkill

                    I prefer overkill. Lol

My name is travis. Just let me know if you need anything. My mono right now runs 68-70 on 6s. On 4s it would probably run in the 50's. I'll know in the next couple days for sure.

Thanks for the info Heath M. Travis those motors are real nice but I think there too much for this boat . I'm looking for something a little more affordable for the rest of the people I'm buying boats with trying to keep a level playing field. I was looking at the Leo 4082 1600kv with swordfish pro + 200. That just leaves the servo and batteries. I'm thinking the Traxxas 2075 for the servo and 6s battery/ batteries I have no idea. Cars and trucks I know but I've seen this boat done two ways 1 in the front or 2 smaller in the back any suggestions?

Well the 4082 should be a good choice along with a seaking 180. The swordfish escs (lower models) are as robust as the seaking 180. I'd use a savox water proof servo 0235 I think is the number. Much better than the teacxas according to people I've talked to that switched from the traxxas. It's about $43 shipped on eBay.

Is this the water proof servo that you're refering to? I have always been very happy with savox in my 1/8, 1/5 scales vehicles and Helis. I have been looking out for a good water proof servo myself!
