Hi all thank you so much for the data so far. Thanks to you guys I finally got my first real boat in the water. Please help me with the following IF/THEN .... Help a Dummy out LOL

I ask because the boat did not go... it kind of made a fine mist that looked like smoke at first LOL .
Temps were cool but no go...

    ESC 180A HW

Did you get the correct rudder?
Is the prop sharpened ? Their aluminum props are nice but I don't have one so I don't know if further sharpening is required as with some of the Chinese TFL CNC props.
The prop is not biting and partly it is a bit on the small side for this size of a hull, cavitation is the term. However, 2200kv on 6s is asking a lot especially you are just setting up the boat, assuming you have no 4s on hand, therefore that prop which is under 40mm is a viable choice at the moment for you. Anything bigger would be increasing the risk of burning up the motor/ESC at this stage.
If you have a buddy, try to "launch" the boat by tossing it towards the water in a horizontal fashion, you get the picture, a lot of guys do that in their video, but you need to apply the throttle soon as the boat is in the water and not let it stop. DO NOT REV THE MOTOR WHEN THE GUY IS CARRYING THE BOAT, you risk injuring him and also it is a NO NO to pull full throttle w/o load.
A bigger prop might help, but not with 6s on a 2200kv motor at this time. heck, I don't recommend anything above 1800kv with 6s for a sport set up. Some people might say it is fine, but not for a relatively new boater and a boat which has not been tested out.
The common practice would be to have 4s on a 2200kv motor, and a 45mm prop would do nicely. I have a 2000kv Leopard turning a M447/3 and with good speed.

Yes Thank you i did get the correct rudder.

Thank you for taking the time to explain. I remember seeing the gas boats in the 90's get thrown in the water LOL.

I recognize the body of water in your video. Please tell me your local... Buying you In&out while i ask 2 million questions....

I do have some 4s 3700 45c Pulse that i will try, as well as have the boat launched in.

I ordered a LMT 1500kv 1950 motor because i would like to use my $135 heli packs that I have.

Thank you again for you answer

Yes, I would use the 4s, but better yet if you can run 4s2p as the capacity is rather low and your run time as well as longevity of your cells would benefit if you double up the capacity by running them in parallel.
YES! You will love that motor!
I am in Arcadia, So Cal. Where are you?
