Need some painting advice

I plan on painting a Shockwave 26 (ABS hull) soon. I have two main hull colors and would like to add pinstriping and logos as well. Initial question is what might be easier and cleaner, masking off the logo/lettering and spraying the main colors over that? Or Laying down the main colors and then masking and airbrushing over the main color before clear? FYI this will be a rattle can job.

Spray the color. Clear. Then buy pinstripe and put it on.
