Need to fix clear on Aquacraft Lucas Oil, is OEM paint Acrylic or Enamel?

I cracked the seam on my Aquacraft Lucas Oil in a 50+ mph flip, who knew the stock RTR boat could go so fast

Unfortunately, the flip was rather hard and the seam on the port side cracked wide open. I fixed it, but about 7 x 3 inch section of the clear coating peeled off.

I was about to use some clear coat I had laying around, but I just found out that you can't use Acrylic Clear over Enamel. But I have no idea what the stock paint is.

I tried calling and asking Aquacraft Customer support, but they had no clue.

    Anyone familiar?

    Probably urethane
In which case, either will work

You could try masking off a very small area under the tunnel between the sponsons as an experiment. That way even if the paints are not compatible, it will only disturb a small area on a part of the boat that isn't visible. Unless of course its floating back to shore upside down as my Lucas occasionally does!
