    Going lipo. Need help.

I am finaly making the switch to Lipo. Where would I get some decent quality sport packs from at a good price? I don't trust the rating of the packs on ebay

I would be careful, as you get what you pay for, especially with lipo. What C rating are you looking for?

                    re lipos

i agree with the flying scotsman in that with lipos you get what you pay for .

i prefer to pay the extra money and go with lipos maufactured by flightpower, thunderpower or trakpower . they use enerland cells which are very good quality.

I have used the Air thunder with great success. Plus they just replaced my 25c 5000mah 2S1P pack for 50% off after my crash. Nothing they did was wrong, but was still nice enough to replace it at a discount....

As I mentioned before... you can get those from www.rclipos.com

                      Have fun!!!!

here is my (and only mine) advice... for your first pack get a cheap one, GE Power (blue pack) on e bay, learn it, mistreat it, they are 25C burst, once you feel confident with this technology, get some top brand!

I prefer any of the Enerland based Lipo companies ( Neu energy, Flightpower/Thunderpower, Polyquest) and I have recently tried the Zippy "R" packs $130 for a 6s 5000 pack shipped my conclusion was almost as good as a comparable FP pack but not quite the punch but close...very good bang for the buck
