Does somebody knows if Kintec racing is still in buisness?

Hi, i have placed an ordre at this seller last saturday. According to paypal, the payment is sent(and my creditcard says the same)... But the order has not been shipped yet. Is this normal?

I just got an order from them within a couple days. Have you called or emailed? Possible what you ordered is out of stock.

Sometimes if he doesn't have something and he's got stuff coming in from vendors to fill an order, he will hold it for a while till it comes in.

I was kind of wondering the same thing. I placed a pretty good order almost three weeks ago and still don't have any of it. I have called and sent emails with no response... I understand parts get backordered and he may be busy but, three weeks and not even an email on what's going on???

i know he is usually fast, i already ordered from him and got my stff very fast(last year when my Rio was alive). I e-mailed him twice without any respond, and since i live in canada, and my only phone is a cellphone, i don't want to have to call... If you know what i mean!

Jan has gotten my things out the past few orders in a timely manner. Either same day or next day. I placed an order the other day and when I got it one thing was missing (Traxxas 2s Dual charging adapter). I popped him an email, he responded next day that he was waiting on Traxxas.... All of the emails I have sent to him he responded unless I already knew the answer. I miss the packing slip days...

I will always order from Kintec Racing and OSE, pretty much the only places I order from for boat stuff. Both have done me well. A long time ago something was out of stock for 3 months, one day I opened the mailbox and kaboom! Don't worry, he should get it to you.

You will get one or 2 things: A package or a refund, I promise. He is a good dude and seems busy so some reading material in the mean time(lol):

Oh, I know. I'm not worried. I have ordered from him several times over the last few years with no issues. It's just frustrating to have zero communication with the person that has your money. Did something goofy happen with paypal? Is it lost in the mail? Is it backordered for months? I have no idea...

I just received an email from Jan at kintec. I emailed him letting him know he had some concerned customers. I'll sum up what he said. He's extremely busy and his only helper was diagnosed with cancer here recently and had to quit. He's doing this on his own and is doing the best he can. I've never had an issue with him, sometimes things take a little longer because he may not have something in stock and its on the way. Rest assured, you'll get your stuff or your money back. I've spent lots of money with him so I know this for a fact. I was waiting on some battery trays from a couple months ago (sometimes your at your vendors mercy) and I emailed him yesterday for a refund because I ended up having some made. He just sent my refund. I've email him many times and received no reply...but he does what I ask him in the email. For instance, I asked him to change up my order. He did exactly what I asked but I never got a reply. I know that you'd rather have a response but as long as it's taken care of I don't mind. Just know, kintec and ose are great vendors to deal with. Never had an issue with either.

Hi, i just received a respond from Jan. Something in my order was out... So i asked to refund the missing part and send the rest! I hopeit will get here soon! And Just to make it clear, I never doubted the honesty of OSE and Kintec!

I sent a direct e-mail and then one using the e-mail form over a week ago to OSE with some questions. No response. Yesterday I sent the same questions to Kintec. Jan answered the questions this morning by e-mail. I just sent him a $187.00 order. I have ordered several times from both without a problem. But this time --- you snooze you loose.

We are all spoiled rotten, the way we have been treated by Steven through out all these years with consistent excellent customer support.
I understand it is a shock if e mails don't get returned........
I try to do my research on the Forum, I have a feeling that technical questions are best avoided with vendors as they are busy with their main line work and it adds unnecessary burden on them.
When I encounter issues with sales ( a rarity), I never had a bad experience with OSE nor Kintec.

kintec is pretty good imo. If something is out of stock and you send a message to Jan he'll do the right thing. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from him again.
