Steven, I'd say "NO" is the answer...
every motor has it's best power band which is dictated by how many amps
are pulled. I think mechanics and friction would play a big roll on how efficient
the motor is on each situation. Given that both setups are equal don't you think that the
150amp scenario is working much harder? In that case the efficiency would be compromised.
I'm no Steve Neu, but this is my train of thought.

Ammo 2600 is another commonly use motor by some of us
      SPECS: Motor Diameter: 1.42" (36mm)
      Motor Length: 2.2" (56mm)
      Shaft Diameter: .197" (5mm)
      Shaft Length: .591" (15mm)
      kV Rating: 2600 rpm/V
      Weight: 10oz (283g)
      Input Voltage: 11.1-14.8V
      Max. Constant Current: 55A
      Max. Surge Current: 90A
      Max. Constant Watts: 815W
      No Load Current: 3.9A

BTW they have a great site page http://www.electrifly.com/motors/gpmg5105.html
The Manx has been sitting dormant, but I think I finally have my motivation back. I hope to see it float soon.

Power (W) = Volts * Amps.
        You're right!

The maximum effeciency amp rating for each motor is important. It is best to design your setup to run close to this number. You used had a link to the Feigao data sheet posted from your motor listings that had this info.

The purpose of posting max watts is to help users from overheating the motor. They will figure out what voltage to use from the kv rating of the motor. The rpm should be between 25k and 30k for oval racing and 30k to ? for straight away running.

Consider adding the motor maximum watt ratings? It will help users to stay within each motors heat limit and not fry a motor and controller. Watts is an important factor in designing setups, but not easily found.

Most FE veterans know or have this info and new users need it.

I updated the 380L and ammo motors.
