      10gauge,

I am planning to conduct field (water) testing nearly as you described this summer. I will be glad to share my plans and data. Interested?

rude5150, the calculated speed is correct, (minus few % for air resistance). Setup sounds dubious because a 47,500rpm motor spinning a 45mm prop with a mega 1.9 prop pitch should go faster than 75mph. Sounds like a one-hit wonder because a motor and ESC can't handle that kind of amp draw nor rpm. Sounds more like a 4S system rather than 6S... Then it would have a calculated speed of 73mph - close to claimed 75mph.
