If it uses an inkjet printer my experience it is not worth it. Much better to print on a color laser printer

they're small so you can't make large decals. they water slide, so you must put a cleacoat on the decal before you try to submerge them in water. this will not stand up to weather. they're for model builders

Yes they will. I have used them to make instrument panels with an inkjet printer and they hold up very well over time.

They work for me too. Have been using them for a few years now with only a few issues. I just got the decal/bonder kit to start with - no software. Graphics I wanted were created on photoshop. They are a bit small, but I haven't had problems because of that. Light coats of the bonder after printer ink has dried. Clearcoat after application to seal them. Vinyl needs to be sealed down as well, but these tend to be thinner so the surface is smoother.

The inkjet waterslide decals will fade very quickly. The LaserJet decal papers are very thin (unlike the vinyl printable stuff) and do not fade for a very long time. You can got to your local Staples store to print on a LaserJet.

Basic stuff can still be done in good old Microsoft Paint. Microsoft Word provides some advanced features. I use CorelDraw and Corel PhotoPaint, but those require purchasing the program. An outstanding FREE full featured graphics editor is Inkscape, but it has a fairly large learning curve.

A couple of examples. The bud logo can be trimmed closely and placed over paint or vinyl. The other was done in Word with the Glow feature in the graphics section of the program.

I disagree ... I have a boat that has had them for 10 years and there is very little signs of fading. Maybe if they where in the sun 24/7 things would be different.
