I posted a thread a couple weeks ago about a mono I was looking at getting. It was an outer limits mono that hobbyking has. Good looking boat with a nice paint job. Had my mind set on it, I wanted a nice rough water knock around boat that I could go fast. I was going mainly for looks because I like a sleek looking mono like a revolt and this outer limits hull. Then someone told me to have a look at Keith's site and check out a mono he had. Well when I saw it, I loved the look of it. But the price had me a little apprehensive about it. After talking to Keith about it and him explaining that the quality is hard to show in pics and he assured me it was a well built hull. So I bit....and bought one. It was waiting on my doorstep this morning after I got back from running some other boats. I rushed to open it up like it was Christmas. Man. Words cannot describe this thing. The seams are perfect. Everything about it is perfect. I feel like it's so strong you could almost stand on it and not hurt it. The cut out for the hatch was perfectly straight and the hatch is so thick, I don't see it breaking at all. I had no idea that fiberglass could be laid up this nice and so strong. It already has a carbon plate in the transom adding reinforcement. You really don't have to do an inlay on this hull but I am because I love the look of a carbon interior. I have a lehner motor set aside for my carbon shocker but this hull is so nice that I'm seriously thinking about putting it in there. I can't wait to get started on this thing. I felt compelled to show you guys some pics. I was originally planning on painting it but now I don't know. The gel coat is so shiny and flawless it would be a shame to cover it!
