This is my lake i use for SAW running, not the biggest lake but a 300m give me a good chance to get up to speed, aslo one bank is around 4m high so it give you a viewing point.

Nice lake, it looks much better than the one we use, I have run a fair few times at Cadover lake very close to there. I found an awesome lake at Menheniot just over the border in Cornwall, used by Adrenalin Quarry, it is 350m long, narrow, island free, deep down a hole and surrounded by trees close to the water on all 4 sides so it barely gets a ripple even on windy days. I spoke to the owner and he was super excited about the prospect of having a SAWs there and was prepared to put a temporary pontoon in to operate from and give us a couple of people with boats for rescue and ferry duties. However the MPBA weren't interested as they thought they would get a lower attendance with it being in the corner of the country, and need somewhere central in the Midlands.

Have you though about putting on a SWARM SAWs?

Kris was feeling left out of the "Mine is longer" discussion...

I think if you were to come over Tyler, we would need a bigger lake. BTW I apologise for starting off this thread and then just disappearing. I write for Marine Modelling International and
they've been giving me a lot to do lately. Of course as always life gets in the way of boating too. I've shelved the 1S idea for the moment but it is still jumping up and down and waiving at me!!

No worries. Life does that. It is always tempting to throw a small boat in suitcase just in case.
