    Homemade Basswood boat

Here is a 36" Basswood Boat that i designed and built on my own. It has twin Graupner speed 700 race motors with 45mm props

It was a very fast boat, until the battery overheated and melted in the boat. Th boat is not damaged, but I have to redo the wiring because the battery plug melted to the ESC plug.

700Race 9,6V #6318? you should not pull more than 20-25amp with each motor, so the Dean plug should not melt, what ESC?
I think your prop are too big 45mm is the prop I've been using on a 700Turbo C #7303 that has a lower KV but more torque! just my thought!
