    Mono hull center of gravity

I've read online that the center of gravity for a mono hull can be found 25-35% of the hull measured from the transom, is this accurate?

I use 30% as my bench mark and typically go to 28%, haven't gone the other way though.
Too many boats, not enough time...

You'll certainly find the CG between 25 and 34% although chances are at 25% you won't keep it on the pond, and at 34% it will most likely run wet.
When I build one I do it in such a way that I can adjust the CG between 28 and 30% by moving the batteries.
