I have question on what to expect for top speed from the veterans here. I have a Genesis with a Leopard 3674/1900kv and a Seaking 180a esc. On 6S, my gps is registering 44 mph and on 4S, I am getting 32 mph. The hardware is all stock with a copper 38mm 1.4 prop, same as the stock plastic prop. After a run, the motor and ESC is at 86F temp wise. Are the speeds I am getting inline with expectations or should I be running a bit faster?
Question on speed expectations.

The speeds are well below what I'd expect with that motor and prop on 6S. With the low temperatures I suspect poor prop efficiency, probably due to the small diameter. Try an x442 first, but check the temps after two minutes. An m445 would be the next step up. A 40mm motor would probably work better.....

Thanks guys for the help. I tried to play around some with the prop angle and it has seemed to help. The prop was pointing upward too much. Now that I have lowered it down, I am getting runs in 45mph range with the 4S battery. I have not tried 6S yet. But I also agree that the prop I have is not the best prop. Will upgrade to a 440 or 442 and see what happens.Comment
